I listened to a lot of great music while I was working A Table by the Window, and now that A Table by the Window (hereafter referred to as simply "Table" because life is short and my title is not) is out, I wanted to share a soundtrack to go with it.
So here it is - some tracks evoke Juliette's French and Italian heritage, while others celebrate the eclectic indie music tastes found in Portland. There are a few more tracks below the widget cut-off, so be sure to click through to find the entire list.
Enjoy!

I loved Simply Sara and Plain Jayne and kept waiting for another book . . . A Table by the Window was worth the wait. Now I can't wait to continue the journey with Reservations for Two. Beautifully written and captivating!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you've enjoyed all three releases, Gloria! I'm excited for Reservations for Two (just brace yourself, it'll be a little bit) - it's quite the story!
DeleteJust read A Table by the Window...writing a review on my blog right now! I was a little sad when I got to the end and realized there would be a sequel. How long must I wait?!? :-)

Leslie - glad you enjoyed the book! Still working on the second installment, but promise it'll be worth the wait. It'll likely be on shelves next spring, with more recipes new secrets :-)
ReplyDeleteI just read A Table by the Window and will be posting a review on YUMeating.com (non blogger site.) I just have to tell you, it has been a long time since an author really brought a character so to life that I felt I was right there with her. I loved the book so much I am actually going to give it another read-through. I am another new fan who is counting down the days until book 2! Juliette is such an amazing character and I can't wait to hear more about grandma! I've also earmarked (not literally, be a shame to ruin the corners!) a few recipes to create and showcase on the site in the future.
ReplyDeleteChrystal - Delighted you enjoyed the book so much! And thank you so much for the lovely review. Loved reading about your grandmother's locket, that's fascinating.
DeleteHope you enjoy the recipes! Let me know if you feature any on your site - I'd be happy to promote them.

Thanks again so much for your lovely review - hope you enjoy it as much the second time around!
I just finished A Table by the Window and I cried. I am so sad but I can't wait until the sequel comes out. When will that be? A lot of truths and similar circumstances hit home. It was a pleasure to read.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the time to stop by, Lisa! The next book in the series, Reservations for Two, will be out next spring. I'm wrapping up the book and the recipes now. I hope you enjoy it just as much! Right now, I think I like it even better than the first book - things are getting juicy. Hugs and Kleenex!
